Figures 1-4 shows the location of the gussets for the 556-197V (S/N A1152P-) to update kit.

NOTE: The lower left box in Figure

1 locates 556-440D’s and 556-442D’s

bottoms from the center frame hitch plate’s

bottom.

Start with the 556-442D gusset to

center frame and clamp or hold and tack it as

shown in Fig. 2. Then weld completely in

locations shown. Now weld the second 556-

442D on other side of frame as previously

described.
